Joe was born and raised in Powell River BC and began his journey at 8 years old in minor hockey and quickly fell in love with the game. Afterwards he completed 5 seasons of junior hockey and then returned to his hometown to play senior hockey with the Powell River.
Regals for 16 seasons.
Highlighted by capturing the 2006 Allan Cup National Championship in front of the home crowd and the following season getting an opportunity to represent Team Canada in an international tournament in Belarus in 2007.
Testimonials
Joe is the go-to authority on training for hockey skills in our community. He's great with kids - he's positive and encouraging while also constructive and corrective. Our family would highly recommend going to any of Joe's hockey skills camps.
Joe is an outstanding coach! His positive and encouraging approach truly inspires young players, creating a fun and supportive environment for learning. He teaches valuable techniques and skills that help kids grow both on and off the ice. My son has attended several of Joe’s camps and always comes away more confident and motivated. We plan to continue with Joe’s programs throughout my son’s hockey journey. Highly recommended!
